Private Mossman Gorge Adventure Day 27/28

Starting the day at the world-famous Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre. On arrival you’ll receive a cultural education by the traditional owners, the Kuku Yalanji people. You’ll be welcomed with a traditional smoking ceremony that cleanses the body and welcomes you into the rainforest as a friend. 

We then ride the Eco-Shuttle up to the start of Mossman Gorge. The rainforest here is incredibly interesting and beautiful. There are strange and ancient plants, as well as rare birds and wildlife. Exploring the Daintree National Park at an easy pace, this interpretive 1.5hr walk, will leave you with a deeper understanding of this breath-taking rainforest. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the tranquil waterholes along the walk, or a more adventurous swim in the main gorge; a very special opportunity to spend time in
the Daintree rainforest.

Following lunch, we head 10 minutes north, to a secret location on the beautiful Mossman River; It’s now time for your private River Drift adventure; Beginning with an interpretive river walk, where the shallow or dry riverbed serves as your path upstream, completely enveloped by the rainforest. This unique journey
allows you to explore the river's course on foot, surrounded by rainforest, before transitioning to a different section of the river for the next phase of your adventure. Here, equipped with river sleds, you'll experience the varied pace of the river's flow. Glide through calm waters under a lush canopy, then feel the exhilaration of navigating faster currents. 

After an amazing day in the rainforest, we head back to your accommodation.

• More than 7 days before departure: no charge
• 7 days to 48 hours before departure: 50% charge
• Less than 48 hours before departure, or no-show: no refund
• Date changes are free with more than 7 days' notice (by email or phone, subject to availability); within 7 days they're at our discretion and may be treated as a cancellation
• If we cancel for safety reasons, we refund in full
