Mossman Gorge Adventure Day

AUD $270.00
  • Duration: 9 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Mossman Gorge, QLD
  • Product code: MGRDS
Immerse yourself in a unique rainforest experience!

Start your day at a secret Mossman River location with our one-of-a-kind 'River Drift' tour.

Beginning with an interpretive river walk, where the shallow or dry riverbed serves as your path upstream, completely enveloped by the rainforest. This unique journey allows you to explore the river's course on foot, surrounded by rainforest, before transitioning to a different section of the river for the next phase of your adventure. Here, equipped with river sleds, you'll experience the varied pace of the river's flow. Glide through calm waters under a lush canopy, then feel the exhilaration of navigating faster currents.

After a well-deserved lunch, you'll participate in a traditional Kuku Yalanji smoking ceremony at Mossman Gorge. This cultural experience includes a cleansing of bad spirits and the application of traditional rainforest body paint.

Your adventure continues with an easy paced 1.5-hour interpretive walk in the Daintree National Park. This journey provides a deeper understanding of the breathtaking rainforest, its ecology, and cultural significance.

A Daintree adventure not to be missed!
